Michael Shifrin is Of-Counsel to Hirzel Law, PLC and assists the firm with its Illinois association cases and legal matters. Mr. Shifrin possesses a deep understanding of condominium and community association law and the numerous challenges board members face while serving their community.  Michael utilizes a highly refined practice style to help sculpt community associations into first-class communities while achieving outstanding results for clients.

Mr. Shifrin has been named an Illinois Rising Star by Illinois Super Lawyers Magazine three times during his career, a recognition limited to the top 2.5% of lawyers under 40 years of age. Additionally, he was selected as an Emerging Lawyer in Illinois in 2019 by Leading Lawyers, which recognizes those under the age of 40 that prove themselves professional and experienced in their legal career.

As a former co-chair of the Community Association Institute (CAI, Illinois Chapter) Membership Committee, author of numerous articles within industry trade publications, and sought-after speaker at various trade show exhibitions, Mr. Shifrin is an active participant and recognized leader in the condominium and community association industry.
