Ihsan Abdulghani is an Associate Attorney at Hirzel Law, PLC in the firm’s collection group. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan.

Prior to joining Hirzel Law, Ms. Abdulghani worked at a nonprofit organization, where she first served as a Law Clerk before transitioning into an Attorney role. In that position, she focused on landlord-tenant matters and represented clients in district court proceedings, gaining valuable courtroom experience and strengthening her advocacy skills.

During law school, Ms. Abdulghani interned with the Honorable David Allen of the Wayne County Third Circuit Court, where she gained valuable insight into court procedures. She was actively involved in the law school community, serving as her class’s 2L Representative and later as the American Bar Association Representative during her third year. She was also a member of the American Inn of the Court, where she collaborated with experienced practitioners and federal judges, further strengthening her advocacy and professional skills.  

Ms. Abdulghani earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where she was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Abdulghani enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time with her nephews.
